After 8 years of Republican rule, Barack Obama turned Wednesday to the task of building a Democratic administration to lead the country out of war and into the financial recovery that he promised.

- how on earth can you know that? It's irresponsible to have this many children. There is not enough time in a day to take care of 19 children and to give each the attention children need. To pass that responsibility on to the older children is hateful.

- My daughter has flown as an unaccompnied minor internationally many times. It is carefully managed and in all the times she flew there was only one missed flight and an unwarranted delay in arriving, but we were kept informed. To blame the parents is just ridiculous.

- It's not called British Petroleum - it's name is BP and BP America. It started out british but has evolved asa it bought other companies etc.

- foreign ships have not been stopped from helping in the clean up. McCain and his politicking about the Jones Act is a red herring. The CG have said time and again that it has not hindered the clean up effort. The berms have been a failure.
